MINUTES OF APRIL 30, 2018 BUDGET MEETING

 

Meeting opened at 6:00 p.m.

Present at the meeting:

Mayor- Linda Petterson-Law

Trustee- Robyn Rose

Trustee- Linda Denton

Trustee Timothy Morford

Trustee- Stephen Helmin

 

 

PRESENTATION OF 2018 2019 BUDGET:

MOTION MADE BY Trustee, Seconded by Trustee to Accept the 2018-2019 Budget as presented. AYES and NAYES. MOTION PASSED

 

NEW BUSINESS:

Memorial Day Parade Committee was selected with the appointment of Trustee Stephen Helmin and Trustee Linda Denton. They will try to meet with Tim Healy to get things going.

 

New Zoning Code was handed out and a Public Hearing will take place on May 21, 2018 at 5:45p.m.

 

Review and Acceptance of Zoning/Planning Board Candidates. Letters of interest were received from Arthur Marshall, Laurie Fischer, and Shadrach Geisler. All candidates were accepted for the following terms: Arthur Marshall 3 year term, Laurie Fischer 2 year term, and Shadrach Geisler 1 year term. All will be sworn in at the May monthly meeting.

 

There was discussion regarding Resolution 04-02, 2018 adding a $20.00 Water Surcharge to Water Sewer rates. It was decided not to make that change.

MOTION MADE BY Trustee Hillman , to take Resolution 04-02, 2018 off the table and to withdraw the Resolution Seconded by Trustee. AYES and NAYES. MOTION PASSED

 

The Board has once again chosen to personally donate two $25.00 awards for 9^th Grade- Highest Averages for the Fonda-Fultonville Central School.
