MINUTES OF JANUARY 10, 2019 SPECIAL MEETING

 

Meeting opened at 5:04

Present at the meeting:

Mayor- Linda Petterson-Law

Trustee- Robyn Rose

Trustee- Linda Denton

Trustee Timothy Morford

Trustee- Stephen Helmin

 

History of what has been done since May 2, 2017 was given out, and gone over. Discussed payments made by the Village to the WWTP. Discussed meeting with Village of Fonda on Monday, January 7, 2019. Village of Fonda hasn’t made a quarterly payment to the WWTP since September 2017. Mayor looking for backup from board at meetings with Fonda.

 

The Village of Fonda believes the Village of Fultonville has benefited more than they have from the grants. The only joint grant is 14 and the Village of Fultonville has paid everything except the change order. Grant sixteen has not started.

 

Need to see what loan(s) the Village of Fonda is paying on.

 

Trustee Helmin created a spreadsheet to show who took a loan or grant and who benefited the most.

 

There are no resolutions appointing Laberge, any reports that required Bob Headwell’s name were never signed. Laberge was never legally appointed.  Mayor would like to do a letter to Laberge terminating their services and requesting an itemized bill. Motion by Trustee Helmin, Seconded by Trustee Denton All Ayes and No Nays, Motion Passed.

 

Discussion of debt to Laberge for work at WWTP, Brett says the Village of Fultonville is not responsible for this debt. There is no service agreement.

 

Mayor Peeler refused to sign the Intermunicipal Agreement.

 

Discussed D.E.C. and the anonymous complaint for the WWTP wetlands. 

 

Discussed Town of Glen and the Fire Contract. Village residents are being charged Town Fire Tax. It was not brought to the Town Board that Fultonville Fire Department would match Town of Glens offer.

 

Discussed how to go forward with the meeting on Monday, January 14, 2019.
