Minutes of the December 16, 2019 Regular Meeting, Seconded by Trustee Helmin. All

OF THE MONTHLY BILLS TO BE PAID:

MOTION MADE BY Trustee Denton, to Accept the Audit
of the Bills and to Pay those Bills for the month, Seconded by Trustee Wemple.

REPORT:
State
of the Village: The Mayor gave a brief State of the Village.
Trustee Morford thanked everybody
for their hard work.
BOARD
MEMBERS/STAFF REPORTS:
Trustee Helmin: drafted a press release
for the two Mayor’s regarding the WWTP accomplishments. Interviews
were held for the Account Clerk
Typist position and a recommendation has been made. Trustee
Morford asked if a background check had been done.
This will be added to WWTP agenda.
Trustee Denton: asked that DPW widen the
roads and clear corners after a snowfall. The question of who is
Responsible for clearing around fire
hydrants. It is the responsibility of the Village. A question
regarding the new thrift shop on
Riverside Dr. was brought up.
Trustee Morford: was approached by a
resident regarding A&E Village Make Over Contest.
Tim is hiring a videographer to do a video of
the Village to submit. He also brought up about
asking Spectrum to include free
village wide Wi-Fi.
Trustee Wemple: has Walmart and BTA
trucks on Washington St., a letter is to be sent.
Fire Chief’s: attached,
Dedication of the new truck will take place in March.

Sue Pulis-Krizan to be billed for Rabies Response $100.00 fee.

1-04, 2020 To Amend Chapter 120 Streets and Sidewalks as Amended. Seconded by
Trustee Denton. All AYES and No NAYS. MOTION PASSED
There
was discussion regarding the length of time after a snowfall that sidewalks
need to be clear. It was decided to allow 36 hours.

Information regarding
converting all streetlights to LED. A voucher was put through this evening to
pay the Village portion.
Spring Clean-up schedule
was presented.
