MINUTES OF MONDAY NOVEMBER 16, 2020 REGULAR MEETING

 

Meeting opened at 6:00

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING

MOTION MADE BY Trustee Denton, to Approve the Minutes of the October 20, 2020 Regular Meeting, Seconded by Trustee Hornbeck.  There was discussion of the minutes resulting in corrections being requested. MOTION BY Trustee Denton to table allowing for corrections to be made. Seconded by Trustee Helmin. All AYES and No NAYS. MOTION PASSED

 

MOTION MADE BY Trustee Denton, to Approve the Minutes of the April 20, 2020 Regular Meeting,

AUDIT OF THE MONTHLY BILLS TO BE PAID:

MOTION MADE BY Trustee Helmin, to Accept the Audit of the Bills and to Pay those Bills for the month, Seconded by Trustee Denton. All AYES and No NAYS. MOTION PASSED

 

MAYORAL REPORT:

Grant 16: Broad St. project has started. Ron stopped contractor from putting pumps in without chains.

They found a high spot on the clarifier.

Monthly summary: Water line break on Franklin. Resident didn’t have water after, it turned out to be their line.

33 Main Street, the demolition has started. Storm damage has been cleaned up. COVID numbers are up throughout the county. Town of Glen is no longer working off water credits. The district 2 meters have been replaced. The Fair Association has locked and blocked the second access to the Sewer plant.

 

PUBLIC COMMENT:

Bob Rose and Joshua Squires representing the Lost Boyz. The Mayor read a prepared statement. A discussion followed.

 

Jim Park representing the Fonda-Fultonville Joint Waste Water Treatment Plant. Mr. Park gave an update on the WWTP. The Village of Fultonville will be paying the two Board members from Fonda, and bill the WWTP.

 

BOARD MEMBERS/STAFF REPORTS:

Trustee Helmin:  Spoke about Neighborhood Watch signs, requesting to purchase 5 or 6. Attended the Town of Glen meeting. Larry Coddington to fill Kirk Field’s vacated position.

 

Trustee Denton:  Asked about a strong chlorine smell in the water?

 

Trustee Morford: Forwarded an email from Paleen Manor asking permission to repair the road.

 

Trustee Hornbeck:  Motion by Trustee Hornbeck to have the task force added to the agenda as a committee, Seconded by Trustee Helmin. ALL AYES and NO NAYS. MOTION PASSED.

Task Force will meet on Thursday. Need to replace garbage can in park. Donation sign is deteriorating.

MOTION MADE BY Trustee Denton to Accept Resolution to Award Proposal for the Sewer System Improvement Project Contract No. 6- Air Monitoring, Seconded by Trustee Hornbeck. All AYES and No NAYS. MOTION PASSED

MOTION MADE BY Trustee Helmin to Accept Resolution to Authorize Change Order No. 2 to the Village of Fultonville Sewer Improvements Project, Contract No. 3.1E- Electrical, Seconded by Trustee Hornbeck. All AYES and No NAYS. MOTION PASSED

 

Tree Lighting: turned over to the Task Force.
