YARD DEBRIS PICKUP GUIDELINES

All Yard Debris must be curb side of each Village residence by 6 a.m. of the pickup day.

If yard waste is not out at this time, it must wait until next pickup.

VILLAGE STAFF WILL NOT PICKUP YARD WASTE THAT IS NOT CURBSIDE.

Yard debris is defined as materials of organic nature, ( i.e., lawn clippings, leaves, branches, soil etc.).

All yard debris must be in a container that can be dumped into the Village truck. We will not pick up clippings that are loose at the curb.

All branches are to be cut into 4-foot lengths, and limited to 3 bundles. Trailer rental or special pickup is required for larger amounts of branches and other yard debris. Please call the Village office (518-853-3815) to make arrangements.

Rocks and stones MUST be placed in a container, and must not weigh more than 25 pounds. Such container will be taken and brought back curbside.

Leaves may be raked to the curb or placed in totes or paper yard debris bags, and will be picked up by Village staff. NO PLASTIC BAGS WILL BE COLLECTED.

Yard debris will be picked up Monday and Friday mornings from April 1^st  to November 30^th  (weather permitting) between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m.

Discarded live Christmas trees will be picked up from December 26^th through January 10^th.
